The American Alliance of Museums has been bringing museums together since 1906, helping to develop standards and best practices and providing advocacy on issues of concern to the entire museum community.

 

The Association of Tourist Railroads & Railway Museums was founded in to encourage heritage railways and railway museums in the exchange of ideas and information and to be of assistance to one another.

 

The Bannerman Castle Trust, preserving and protecting Bannerman Island for the public to experience as an educational, cultural, historical and recreational facility for promoting heritage tourism.

 

The Beacon Chamber of Commerce, whose mission is to advocate for its members and promote the economic growth of Beacon, New York by aiding in their development and success.

The Beacon Historical Society, which shares our love of the past and recognizes the ways in which history improves the present and informs the future.

 

The Chazen Companies, leaders in engineering, surveying, environmental, planning and landscape architecture, who are graciously donating site design services to the incline railway.

 

The Committee to Restore the Beacon Fire Tower consists of our members and associates who are helping to reinvigorate this silent sentinel. Built in 1931 and standing atop South Beacon Mountain, it affords visitors breathtaking views in every direction.

The Environmental Consortium of Colleges & Universities, whose mission is to advance our understanding of the cultural, social, political, economic and natural factors affecting the Hudson River watershed.

 

The Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area Program, which, like us, has a mission to recognize, preserve, protect and interpret significant cultural and natural resources of the Hudson River Valley.

 

The Museum Association of New York, working to build an inclusive, interconnected and visible community of museums and related partners that support strong organizational development and high professional standards.

 

The National Trust for Historic Preservation, a privately funded nonprofit organization working to save America's historic places.

Scenic Hudson Land Trust, who like us is committed to preserving and restoring our irreplaceable natural and historic treasures as public resources. The Incline Railway is located in Mount Beacon Park, created on 234 acres of land preserved by Scenic Hudson.

 

Walkway Over the Hudson, with whom we share not just members, but also a rich railway heritage and breathtaking views of the Hudson River valley and beyond.
