This great color film is courtesy of Mr. Ron Wallace and is excerpted from RonRail Picture's "Empire State Trolleys." The film is also courtesy of the National Railroad Historical Society (NRHS), North Jersey Chapter. The footage was shot by Mr. Al Cramer, a distinguished early member of that chapter. It begins with the paddleboat steamship Robert Fulton moving up the Hudson River. Viewers may also recognize the Rip Van Winkle Bridge at Hudson, NY.

The film provides great shots of the incline railway's original lower station, as well as its upper station and powerhouse. It also reveals the sweeping panoramas from the mountaintop that visitors still enjoy today. There is also some very clear footage of the "new" casino built on the mountain in 1928, as well as some of the other cottages and structures at the summit.
