Society trustee, Frank DiLorenzo, will present a breakout session at the upcoming Celebrating the Living Classroom held at Vassar College. Organized by the Environmental Consortium of Colleges & Universities, this annual conference include field trips, keynote speakers, and the Great Work Award.
Frank's presentation will cover the Incline Society's ongoing partnership with Stevens Institute of Technology to engage students with hands-on challenges related to the Incline's restoration. Over the past many years, the students have worked on engineering problems such as ADA compliance, management of water runoff, environmentally and a sustainable design for onsite parking .
The event runs from Friday, November 6th through Saturday November 7th, 2015.
